POSITION: DIRECTOR OF HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT/ MEDICAL RECORDS

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the ongoing effective operation of Health Information Management and Transcripiton department of Hospital by exerting a leadership role which supports the hospital’s mission, vision, goals and objectives, while focusing on the patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and the community as customers.

Serves as part of a collaborative management team focused on promoting the Mission, Vision, and Values of Community Hospital, and assigned services, embracing a person-centered philosophy while promoting services across the continuum.

Educational Req:

  Experience in  related field ; Management exp preferred

4 year college degree

RHIA, or RHIT
