DIRECTOR OF CRITICAL CARE

 1 year of experience required

Is responsible for effectively managing the financial, service, and quality goals of critical care, progressive care, emergency and telemetry nursing services. Establishes annual goals for areas or responsibility that support the strategic plan. Identifies business opportunities for providing new services or enhancing existing services. Coordinates with the clinical managers to develop and manage the capital and operating budgets for areas of responsibility.

Works closely with the  Chief  Nursing Officer . Collaborates with physicians, clinical managers, and other members of the health care team to promote optimum patient care. Understands and supports the professional practice of nursing. QUALIFICATIONS

RN license.

Masters in Nursing or related field preferred

Three to five years of management experience

recent management of acute care inpatient units.

critical care or emergency nursing required.
